The cheapest Canon printer on Cyber Monday may not be the cheapest Canon printer to own.
That distinction matters more with printers than almost any other tech purchase.
A $75 PIXMA can make perfect sense if you print a few school assignments and shipping labels each month. But if your household produces hundreds of pages, paying more upfront for a Canon MegaTank could reduce what you spend on ink over the printer’s lifetime.
And if most of those hundreds of pages are black-and-white business documents, an imageCLASS laser printer may make more sense again.
So for Canon Printers Cyber Monday Deals 2026, don’t start with the biggest discount.
Start with your monthly page count.
First decide which Canon printer family you actually need
There are four main shopping paths worth following this Cyber Monday.
Occasional home printing
Look at a conventional PIXMA cartridge printer.
Best for:
- homework
- boarding passes
- recipes
- occasional photos
- forms
- labels
- low monthly print volumes
These printers have the lowest entry price, but replacement cartridges matter over time.
Family or student household printing frequently
Look at a PIXMA MegaTank.
Best for:
- frequent school printing
- homeschooling
- color projects
- household documents
- regular photo printing
- anyone tired of replacing cartridges
You pay more for the printer but refill tanks from comparatively inexpensive ink bottles.
Home office printing hundreds or thousands of pages
Look at a MAXIFY MegaTank.
These combine refillable tanks with more office-oriented features such as document feeders, duplex printing and higher document yields.
Mostly business documents
Consider imageCLASS laser.
If photos are unimportant and your priority is fast, sharp document output, Canon’s monochrome or color laser range deserves serious attention.
That one choice narrows the Cyber Monday sale dramatically.
The under-$100 home-printer target: Canon PIXMA TR7120
The Canon PIXMA TR7120 is the sort of printer that can make Cyber Monday advertising look spectacular because its normal reference price is much higher than the street price it has already reached.
Canon lists it as a wireless multifunction model with:
- printing
- scanning
- copying
- 35-sheet automatic document feeder
- automatic two-sided printing
- borderless printing
- 100-sheet paper capacity
- Wi-Fi connectivity
Canon has advertised it at $99.99 against a $172.99 regular reference price during September 2026.
Amazon pricing has gone substantially lower.
Remember $74.95
Amazon U.S. price history shows the TR7120 reaching $74.95 on June 26, 2026, with several additional July/August drops around $75–$83. It was approximately $84.95 in early September.
That changes the Cyber Monday calculation.
A $99 Cyber Monday price can still be inexpensive in absolute terms.
But it would not be close to the strongest 2026 Amazon price.
For CRAOB, roughly $75 is the benchmark worth remembering.

The catch: cartridge cost
Cheap printers can become expensive printers if you print constantly.
The TR7120 uses Canon’s cartridge system. A genuine Canon PG-295/CL-286 value pack has typically been around $50–$56 during 2026, although Amazon briefly reached $45.99 in January.
If you expect to print only occasionally, that may be perfectly reasonable.
If you’re replacing cartridges frequently, move down this article to MegaTank before buying.
For families who print a lot: Canon MegaTank PIXMA G3290
The PIXMA G3290 is where Canon’s economics change.
Instead of continually replacing cartridges, you refill visible ink tanks using bottles.
Canon rates one set of ink bottles for up to approximately:
6,000 black pages
and
7,700 color pages
under its specified testing methodology.
The G3290 also includes:
- print, copy and scan
- automatic duplex printing
- 2.7-inch color touchscreen
- wireless connectivity
- borderless photo printing
- up to two years of ink in the box based on Canon’s stated usage assumptions
Canon’s U.S. reference price is around $269.99.
Amazon has already reached $199 in 2026
This is the important number.
Amazon tracking shows the G3290 hitting approximately $199 several times in July and August 2026.
It was around $229 in early September.
That means:
$269: ordinary territory.
$229: useful sale territory.
Around $199: much stronger 2026 territory.
The printer has historically gone lower outside 2026, but for evaluating this year’s Cyber Monday promotion, the repeated $199 level is the more useful comparison.

Who should pay extra for MegaTank?
Think about pages, not years.
A family printing:
- homework every weekday
- school projects
- coloring sheets
- forms
- travel documents
- shipping labels
- occasional photographs
can consume significantly more ink than someone printing five pages per month.
That is when the higher upfront cost starts becoming easier to justify.
The important $300 home-office target: Canon MAXIFY GX2020
The Canon MegaTank MAXIFY GX2020 sits in an interesting position.
It’s still compact enough for a desk, but its design is more office-oriented than the basic PIXMA MegaTank models.
Canon gives it:
- scan
- copy
- fax
- automatic duplex printing
- 35-sheet document feeder
- 2.7-inch color touchscreen
- refillable ink tanks
- wireless connectivity
Canon rates a standard ink set for approximately 3,000 black and 3,000 color pages under its specified test conditions.
Canon is currently advertising the GX2020 at $329.99 versus a $410.99 regular reference price.
But once again, Amazon history matters.
$299 is the line to watch
Amazon price tracking shows the GX2020 hitting $299 on June 21, 2026.
It subsequently spent much of the summer around $320–$330, including approximately $319.99 in early September.
So if Cyber Monday brings:
$349: not especially interesting.
$329: familiar sale territory.
Around $299: established strong 2026 territory.
Meaningfully below $299: much more noteworthy.

When should you choose MAXIFY over PIXMA MegaTank?
This is less about image quality and more about workflow.
Choose PIXMA MegaTank when the printer is mainly a household machine.
Choose MAXIFY MegaTank when documents are becoming the main workload.
The MAXIFY family becomes particularly useful for:
- invoices
- contracts
- forms
- client documents
- school administration
- home businesses
- regular scanning
- multi-page copying
The document feeder alone can be worth the difference if you’re constantly scanning stacks of paper.
Home-photo printing deserves a different machine: Canon PIXMA TS8820
Not every high-volume buyer should choose MegaTank.
Someone who mainly wants attractive photo output has different priorities.
The PIXMA TS8820 uses a six-color individual ink system and supports borderless photo printing up to 8.5 x 11 inches. Canon also equips it with:
- 4.3-inch touchscreen
- SD memory-card slot
- automatic duplex printing
- 100-sheet cassette
- 100-sheet rear tray
- one-sheet multipurpose feed
- wireless printing and scanning
Canon’s September pricing has been $249.99 against a $323.99 regular reference.
Amazon has recently been lower.
$229 is a useful September reference
U.S. comparison data showed Amazon at approximately $229 around September 19, 2026.
So a Cyber Monday price of $249.99 would essentially repeat Canon’s normal promotional territory.
Something around $229 is more competitive with what shoppers have already been able to find.

Don’t buy a photo printer because it is cheap
The TS8820 is interesting specifically if photo output matters.
Someone printing mostly:
- PDFs
- reports
- spreadsheets
- invoices
would be better served by a MegaTank or imageCLASS model.
Someone printing:
- family photographs
- craft projects
- greeting cards
- creative color projects
has a stronger reason to consider the TS8820.
If 90% of your pages are black text: Canon imageCLASS MF465dw II
Inkjet printers dominate home shopping pages.
That doesn’t make them the right choice for every home office.
The Canon imageCLASS MF465dw II is a monochrome laser all-in-one designed around document productivity.
It supports:
- printing
- scanning
- copying
- fax
- automatic duplex printing
- automatic document feeding
- wireless networking
- mobile printing
- 5-inch color touchscreen
Canon rates print speed at up to 42 pages per minute, with a recommended monthly print volume of 750–4,000 pages.
That is a fundamentally different workload from a casual PIXMA.
Don’t judge it against $540.99
Canon currently advertises the MF465dw II at $329.99, compared with its $540.99 regular reference.
Amazon has already gone lower.
2026 Amazon history includes prices around:
- $299.35 in April
- $272.95 in May
- $278.50 in July
- $298.50 in August
with tracking placing the 2026 low around the high-$260s.
Therefore a $329 Cyber Monday listing may look impressive against $540.99 while actually sitting well above prices Amazon has already offered.
For CRAOB, roughly $270–$300 is the meaningful 2026 comparison zone.

What if you need laser speed but also need color?
Canon Color imageCLASS MF753Cdw II
This is the step up for offices that regularly print presentations, graphics and color business documents but still want the consistency and document speed of laser printing.
The Color imageCLASS MF753Cdw II offers:
- print, scan, copy and fax
- up to 35 ppm
- automatic duplex printing
- 50-sheet document feeder
- single-pass two-sided scanning
- 5-inch touchscreen
- wireless connectivity
- high-capacity toner options
Canon’s U.S. catalog has been advertising it around $499–$530 during recent September promotions, versus a $702.99 regular reference.
That already represents substantial promotional pricing before Cyber Monday.
So don’t assume $529 in November would be an exceptional holiday deal.
A Cyber Monday offer should ideally improve materially on the September promotional range before we describe it as particularly strong.

What about the cheapest Canon printer on Amazon?
There will almost certainly be PIXMA listings below many of the models above.
That does not automatically make them better deals.
Low-end cartridge printers are perfectly sensible when you:
- print infrequently
- need scanning and copying occasionally
- don’t care about high speeds
- don’t expect high monthly volume
- need the lowest initial purchase cost
They become less attractive when the printer is used constantly.
For a frequent printer, spending another $100–$150 upfront on a refillable-tank model can be a better economic decision than repeatedly purchasing cartridges.
Cyber Monday makes this easy to overlook because the printer purchase is discounted while the future ink purchases are not visible in the shopping cart.
The five-minute cost test before buying any printer
You do not need a spreadsheet.
Estimate how many pages your household prints in an average month.
Fewer than 50 pages
A conventional PIXMA can make sense.
The initial price matters more because your supplies last longer.
Around 50–200 pages
Compare cartridge PIXMA and MegaTank carefully.
Ink economics are starting to matter.
Hundreds of pages every month
MegaTank becomes increasingly attractive.
If those pages are mostly office documents, compare MAXIFY MegaTank as well.
Hundreds or thousands of mostly black pages
Start with imageCLASS laser.
The speed and toner-based workflow may suit you better than maintaining a color inkjet.
Printer price is only half the deal
When CRAOB evaluates actual Cyber Monday listings, we’ll look at both:
hardware price
and
consumable cost.
That means checking:
- ink-cartridge price
- ink-bottle price
- toner price
- standard versus high-yield toner
- expected page yield
- what starter supplies are included
A $30-cheaper printer that requires expensive cartridges can become the more expensive choice remarkably quickly.
MegaTank buyers: look at the ink included in the box
This is an important difference from ordinary printers.
Canon’s G3290 includes a set of GI-21 ink bottles, and Canon advertises up to two years of ink based on its stated assumption of 200 pages of monthly printing in default mode. Canon also cites yields of up to 6,000 black and 7,700 color pages from one set.
That doesn’t mean every household literally gets two years.
Your results depend on:
- page coverage
- photo printing
- cleaning cycles
- settings
- print frequency
But the included supply still has real value.
When comparing a $200 cartridge printer with a $250 MegaTank, don’t treat the $50 hardware difference as the whole comparison.
Laser buyers: check replacement toner before checkout
The same rule applies in reverse.
The imageCLASS MF465dw II uses Canon 070 toner.
Canon currently lists the standard 070 black cartridge around $142.99 and the high-capacity version around $297.99.
Those prices need to be part of a long-term ownership decision.
A business printing thousands of pages values high yield differently from a household that prints 30 pages each month.
Seven prices to remember before Cyber Monday
These are verified 2026 comparison points, not predictions of future Cyber Monday pricing.
| Canon printer | Useful 2026 reference |
|---|---|
| PIXMA TR7120 | $74.95 Amazon low observed in June |
| MegaTank PIXMA G3290 | Around $199 repeatedly in July/August |
| PIXMA TS8820 | Around $229 Amazon September pricing |
| MAXIFY GX2020 | $299 Amazon June reference |
| imageCLASS MF465dw II | Roughly $269–$299 strong 2026 Amazon territory |
| Color imageCLASS MF753Cdw II | Around $499–$530 Canon September sale territory |
| PIXMA TR160 portable | Around $185–$199 repeatedly during 2026 |
Sources for these historical/current pricing references:
None of those figures guarantees what Amazon will charge on Cyber Monday.
They simply give us a more realistic baseline than MSRP.
A special case: Canon PIXMA TR160 portable printer
The PIXMA TR160 solves a problem none of the other printers here really addresses.
It’s made to travel.
Canon’s compact print-only model includes:
- 50-sheet paper tray
- 1.44-inch display
- wireless connectivity
- USB connection
- optional battery support
Amazon price history shows it repeatedly around $185–$199 during 2026, while its reference price is $269.99.
This should not be compared with the TR7120 simply because both are PIXMA printers.
The TR160 costs more because portability is the feature.
For field workers, mobile offices and people who genuinely print while traveling, that can be valuable.
For a permanent home desk, buy something else.

Watch discontinued and transition models carefully
Canon’s online catalog currently contains a mixture of active listings, remaining inventory and individual product pages that are marked discontinued even while related catalog pages can still show stock or promotional pricing.
That creates potential Cyber Monday clearance opportunities.
But it also creates traps.
An older printer should be substantially cheaper if:
- its replacement is already available
- consumables may become harder to find
- a newer MegaTank has better duplex or document-feeder functionality
- its old MSRP exaggerates the apparent discount
We will treat discontinued printers as clearance targets, not as equal members of Canon’s newest lineup.
Should you stock up on Canon ink during Cyber Monday too?
Possibly.
If you already own the printer and know exactly which Canon cartridge or bottle it uses, a genuine consumables promotion can be useful.
But avoid buying large quantities merely because they’re discounted.
Ink has a storage life, your printer could eventually be replaced, and Amazon listings can mix genuine Canon supplies with third-party compatible products.
Make sure the product title and seller clearly identify what you’re getting.
For laser printers, high-yield toner may deliver better economics than buying several standard cartridges—but calculate the actual yield and purchase price.
Avoid misleading Amazon printer bundles
Printer search pages often contain bundles with:
- USB cables
- reams of paper
- software packages
- generic labels
- cleaning kits
- extra accessories
These are not necessarily bad.
But a $50 “bundle value” should not convince you to pay $40 more for the printer.
Compare the core printer price first.
A normal Amazon listing with the correct Canon printer and manufacturer-supplied ink is generally easier to evaluate than a large third-party package.

The printer you buy should match the pages you print
For a household printing 20 pages a month, buying a $500 office printer because Cyber Monday took $150 off it makes little sense.
For someone printing 500 pages every month, saving $40 on a cheap cartridge PIXMA could prove much more expensive over time.
That’s why CRAOB will judge Canon’s Cyber Monday 2026 offers in three stages:
Is the actual printer price competitive with its 2026 history?
Does the printer fit the buyer’s monthly workload?
What will ink or toner cost after the starter supplies are gone?
Only then does the Cyber Monday percentage matter.
The best Canon printer deal is not necessarily the cheapest printer.
It is the printer with the right combination of purchase price, workload and long-term printing cost.
