Google’s smart-home lineup heading into Cyber Monday 2026 is easy to misunderstand if you shop from an old Nest buying guide.
The Nest Audio and Nest Mini are no longer the products to build a new Google smart home around. Google launched the new Google Home Speaker in June 2026 with Gemini for Home built in. Meanwhile, Google’s newest security hardware consists of the Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd gen), Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd gen) and Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd gen), all built around 2K video and deeper Gemini integration.
There is another wrinkle Cyber Monday shoppers should know about.
On August 31, 2026, Google increased U.S. prices on several Nest cameras and doorbells because of rising component costs. That means some devices now have three useful numbers to compare:
- their original launch price,
- their best verified 2026 sale price,
- and their higher September 2026 list price.
That distinction is crucial. If a $199.99 Nest camera falls to its former $149.99 launch price in November, that would be a large discount versus today’s MSRP—but not necessarily the lowest price buyers have seen in 2026.
This guide separates those numbers.
Build the Google home by job, not by product name
For Cyber Monday 2026, the most useful Google Home/Nest targets fall into six jobs:
| What you want to do | Google device to watch |
|---|---|
| Add Gemini voice control | Google Home Speaker |
| Watch an indoor room | Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd gen) |
| Monitor outside continuously | Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd gen) |
| See people and packages at the door | Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd gen) |
| Automate heating and cooling | Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) |
| Get a lower-cost smart thermostat | Nest Thermostat |
| Add a touchscreen control center | Nest Hub (2nd gen) |
Older cameras, battery models, Nest Hub Max, Nest Audio and Nest Mini can still appear at retailers, but they need more careful treatment in 2026.
Let’s start with the biggest change.
The old Nest speaker strategy is over: Google Home Speaker is the 2026 target
Google released the Google Home Speaker on June 25, 2026 for $99.99.
This is the first Google smart speaker designed specifically around Gemini for Home, rather than being an older Google Assistant speaker receiving Gemini later through software.
It supports more natural conversational requests, multi-step smart-home commands and voice interactions designed around Google’s newer Gemini home experience.
Google also lets you pair the speaker with a Google TV Streamer for a broader entertainment setup.
The launch matters because Nest Audio and Nest Mini had gone out of stock on the U.S. Google Store before the new speaker arrived. Retailers may still carry remaining units, but those devices should now be viewed as older inventory rather than the default Cyber Monday Google speaker recommendation.
What price should you look for?
The Google Home Speaker is still very new.
Its official price remains $99.99, and there is not yet enough established 2026 discount history to manufacture a supposed Cyber Monday target.
A meaningful sale should be compared against the genuine $99.99 launch price.
Google currently also includes a six-month Google Home Premium trial with the speaker. That offer has value, but CRAOB should never convert a bundled subscription trial into a fake hardware discount.

Inside the house: the newest Nest Cam has already been much cheaper than today’s price
The Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd gen) is Google’s current wired indoor security camera.
It records in 2K HDR, has a 152-degree diagonal field of view, 6x digital zoom, night vision, two-way audio and 24/7 live viewing.
It is also one of the clearest examples of why Cyber Monday shoppers need 2026 price history.
Google originally launched the camera at $99.99.
Then Amazon dropped it to $69.99 in June 2026, a price reported at the time as its lowest since launch.
On August 31, however, Google’s U.S. list price increased from $99.99 to $129.99.
That gives us a very useful Cyber Monday framework:
Current Google list price: $129.99
Original launch price: $99.99
Strong verified 2026 Amazon price: $69.99
So if Cyber Monday brings this camera down to $99.99, that is $30 below today’s list price—but it is also simply the camera’s former MSRP.
The $69.99 Amazon price is the much stronger historical reference.

Outside the house: Nest Cam Outdoor has the same price-hike problem
The current Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd gen) also records at up to 2K HDR, provides a wide 152-degree diagonal view and supports 24/7 live viewing.
Unlike the older battery camera, it is designed around continuous wired power. Google rates the outdoor enclosure IP65 for weather resistance.
The camera originally launched in the U.S. for $149.99.
Amazon brought it down to $119.99 in April 2026, which was within $1 of the lowest price tracked by 9to5Toys at that point.
Google then raised its U.S. price to $199.99 on August 31.
That means the three numbers to remember are:
Current Google price: $199.99
Original price: $149.99
Useful 2026 Amazon benchmark: $119.99
This is exactly the sort of product where a giant Cyber Monday percentage can mislead.
If Amazon advertises $149.99 as 25% off $199.99, it would still only be returning to the camera’s original selling price.

At the front door: the current wired Nest Doorbell has a real $139.99 benchmark
The Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd gen) is the current-generation wired Google doorbell.
It uses a 2K 2048 × 2048 sensor, records HDR video and has a tall 1:1 view with a 166-degree diagonal field of view. That square framing is particularly useful for seeing people and packages near the doorstep.
The doorbell launched for $179.99.
During several Amazon sales in 2026, the price reached $139.99. Price tracking records drops to that level in April and May, and an early Prime Day sale in June also matched $139.99.
Google increased the current list price to $199.99 at the end of August.
So the useful comparison is now:
Current Google price: $199.99
Original launch price: $179.99
Verified 2026 Amazon benchmark: $139.99
A future $179.99 Cyber Monday offer would therefore look like a $20 discount against today’s list price while merely recreating the original MSRP.
CRAOB should judge this one against $139.99 whenever possible.

Heating and cooling: there are still two Nest thermostat paths
Google continues to sell both:
Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen)
and
Nest Thermostat
They solve different versions of the same problem.
Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen): the premium option
Google’s Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) has a 2.7-inch circular display, more advanced learning and scheduling functionality and ships with one Nest Temperature Sensor.
It works with most 24V HVAC systems, including many gas, electric, oil, forced-air, heat-pump and radiant systems, although buyers should always run Google’s compatibility checker for their specific wiring before purchasing.
The normal Google price is $279.99.
Google’s current September 2026 promotion brings it down to $239.99 through September 27.
Other U.S. retailers have gone lower during 2026. Walmart has recently offered it for $219.99, while Woot has sold new units for $199.99.
For clean Cyber Monday comparison purposes:
MSRP: $279.99
Current Google sale: $239.99
Recent major-retailer level: $219.99
Lower verified Woot level: $199.99
The Woot price is useful history, but it should not be represented as a normal Amazon retail low.
Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen) — Check Price on Amazon
Nest Thermostat: the simpler, cheaper route
The standard Nest Thermostat remains officially sold by Google for $129.99.
It has a 2.4-inch display and supports smartphone control, schedules and energy-saving features without the premium Learning Thermostat hardware.
It has been discounted substantially below MSRP during 2026.
Amazon-associated sales data has shown units around $79, while Prime Day-era retailer listings have appeared around $89.99.
That makes roughly $80–$90 a much more meaningful historical zone than simply calling $109 or $119 a big deal because the MSRP is $129.99.

Want a screen instead of another speaker? Nest Hub still has a role
The Nest Hub (2nd gen) is old by consumer-electronics standards, but Google still officially sells it in the United States for $99.99.
Its 7-inch touchscreen can display camera feeds, control compatible smart-home devices, play media and act as a Matter/Thread-capable smart-home hub.
In 2026 its biggest advantage is no longer that it is Google’s newest smart-home interface.
It isn’t.
Its advantage is the screen.
For a kitchen, nightstand or room where seeing a Nest Doorbell or camera feed matters, a discounted Nest Hub can still make more sense than the screenless Google Home Speaker.

Be more cautious with Nest Hub Max
The Nest Hub Max remains listed on Google’s U.S. store at $229, but it is currently marked out of stock.
That changes how CRAOB should treat Amazon listings.
A Hub Max appearing on Amazon during Cyber Monday is not automatically a deal just because the hardware has a familiar Nest name. Check:
- whether it is sold as new,
- who the seller is,
- whether the warranty is clear,
- and whether the price makes sense for hardware that is no longer reliably stocked directly by Google.
Its 10-inch display, camera and larger speakers can still be useful, but it should not be one of the headline 2026 deal targets unless retailer pricing is unusually attractive.

Nest Audio and Nest Mini should now be treated as old-stock deals
Nest Audio and Nest Mini are especially easy to mishandle in a 2026 article.
Both went out of stock on the Google Store ahead of the launch of the Google Home Speaker, which is now Google’s current $99.99 voice-first smart speaker.
That does not mean the older speakers suddenly stop working.
They can still make sense if a reputable U.S. retailer clears remaining inventory at a very low price.
But CRAOB should label them as older-generation hardware rather than placing them beside Google Home Speaker as if all three are equally current.
For most new buyers, Google Home Speaker should be the default Cyber Monday speaker target.
What about the battery Nest Cam and battery Nest Doorbell?
Google still lists older battery-based devices alongside its newer wired camera family.
For example, Google’s camera comparison currently includes:
- Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd gen)
- Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd gen)
- Nest Cam (outdoor or indoor, battery)
- Nest Cam with floodlight
- older wired Nest Cam inventory.
The battery Nest Cam remains useful when there is no convenient outlet or when installation flexibility matters more than maximum image quality.
But the current wired cameras now offer 2K HDR, versus 1080p HDR on the battery camera.
The same logic applies to Nest Doorbell battery models.
Choose battery hardware because you need battery installation—not because an older device has a bigger percentage discount.
Google Home Premium replaces the old Nest Aware conversation
If you remember Nest Aware, Google’s subscription branding has changed.
Google introduced Google Home Premium in October 2025 as the replacement for Nest Aware and as the subscription layer for Gemini-powered smart-home features.
For 2026, Google lists:
Standard: $10/month or $100/year
Advanced: $20/month or $200/year
Standard provides 30 days of event-based video history and additional smart-home functionality.
Advanced adds 60 days of event history, up to 10 days of 24/7 continuous history on supported wired cameras/doorbells, plus deeper Gemini camera capabilities such as detailed event descriptions, searchable video history and daily summaries.
The current Nest Cam Indoor, Nest Cam Outdoor and Nest Doorbell each include some functionality without a subscription, including live view, built-in alerts and six hours of event video previews.
So do not add $10 or $20 per month to every buyer’s assumed purchase price automatically.
Instead, decide whether the specific history and Gemini features you want justify Google Home Premium.
The Cyber Monday numbers worth remembering
Here is the shorter version to keep beside the live listings in November.
| Product | Current/reference price | Useful 2026 benchmark |
|---|---|---|
| Google Home Speaker | $99.99 | New June 2026; limited discount history |
| Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd gen) | $129.99 current Google price | $69.99 Amazon June sale |
| Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd gen) | $199.99 current Google price | $119.99 Amazon April sale |
| Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd gen) | $199.99 current Google price | $139.99 repeated Amazon sale |
| Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) | $279.99 MSRP; $239.99 Sept. Google sale | $219.99 major retailer; $199.99 Woot |
| Nest Thermostat | $129.99 | Around $79–$89.99 documented 2026 pricing |
| Nest Hub (2nd gen) | $99.99 | Check live price; older hardware |
| Nest Hub Max | $229 list | Currently out of stock at Google |
These are comparison benchmarks, not Cyber Monday 2026 forecasts.
No one knows what Amazon’s November prices will be yet.
Three types of Google Nest deals to avoid
1. A “huge” discount created by the August price increase
A Nest Cam Outdoor dropping from $199.99 to $149.99 looks like a $50 sale.
But $149.99 was its original launch price.
That context belongs in the article.
2. Old speakers priced too close to Google Home Speaker
The current Google Home Speaker costs $99.99 and was designed around Gemini for Home.
A remaining Nest Audio or Nest Mini listing only becomes compelling when the clearance price creates a meaningful reason to buy the older hardware.
3. Marketplace listings for hard-to-find Nest products
When Google’s own store has stopped reliably stocking a product such as Nest Hub Max, an Amazon listing needs more scrutiny.
A rare listing is not necessarily a sale.
Which Google Nest deals should you watch first?
For a new smart-home setup in 2026, the most important deal targets are straightforward.
Google Home Speaker is the voice-control starting point.
Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd gen) is the one to watch for indoor security—and its documented $69.99 Amazon price gives us an unusually strong benchmark.
Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd gen) is the better target when continuous outdoor monitoring and 2K video matter.
Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd gen) is the current wired front-door model, but a Cyber Monday price should be compared against its established $139.99 2026 Amazon sale—not only today’s $199.99 list price.
For climate control, choose between the premium Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) and the less expensive Nest Thermostat based on the HVAC features you actually need.
And if you want a screen for camera feeds and smart-home controls, Nest Hub (2nd gen) remains relevant even though it is no longer new hardware.
The best Google Nest Cyber Monday deal will therefore depend on what part of the home you are upgrading.
CRAOB will judge each live November offer against both the current price and the strongest relevant 2026 sale history, rather than trusting whatever crossed-out number appears beside Amazon’s Cyber Monday badge.
