Dell Laptop Cyber Monday Deals 2026: XPS, Dell Plus & More

Dell laptop shopping is more complicated in 2026 than it first appears.

The company has changed its consumer naming again, XPS is officially back, Dell Premium is being retired, new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors are appearing in the latest XPS systems, AMD Ryzen AI options have expanded across Dell Plus, and a completely new XPS Googlebook was announced in September.

Meanwhile, older Inspiron-branded machines, previous-generation Dell Plus configurations and seller-customized Dell laptops remain easy to find online.

That means a Cyber Monday listing simply saying:

“Dell 16-inch laptop — $500 off”

tells you almost nothing.

You need to know:

exact model number → processor → RAM → SSD → display → graphics → operating system → seller → condition → historical price of the same configuration.

Cyber Monday 2026 has not happened yet. The prices in this guide are September 2026 pricing and documented earlier-2026 benchmarks, not predicted November discounts.

First: Dell Changed Its Laptop Lineup Again in 2026

Dell simplified its consumer naming in 2025, but adjusted the strategy again at CES 2026.

The important change is that XPS returned as Dell’s premium consumer laptop brand, while Dell said it would retire the temporary “Dell Premium” name. Consumer machines now broadly fall under Dell and XPS, while business hardware sits under Dell Pro.

That means old articles recommending:

  • Inspiron 14 Plus
  • Inspiron 16 Plus
  • Dell Premium 14
  • Dell Premium 16

need to be checked against the actual 2026 replacement.

Do not assume an old name means the machine is bad. It may be excellent clearance inventory.

But it must be priced like previous-generation hardware.

Gaming-focused Alienware laptops are intentionally not mixed into the main comparison here. An RTX-equipped gaming machine and a Dell Plus productivity laptop solve fundamentally different problems.

Configuration Trap #1: A $699 Dell Can Mean Two Very Different Laptops

Dell 15 DC15250

Dell’s mainstream 15-inch notebook remains a traditional budget/productivity machine.

A current Dell configuration is approximately $699.99 and includes:

  • Intel Core 3 100U
  • 8GB DDR5
  • 512GB SSD
  • 15.6-inch 1920 × 1080 display
  • Intel integrated graphics
  • Windows 11 Home

This is suitable for:

  • web browsing
  • Microsoft Office
  • schoolwork
  • streaming
  • email
  • straightforward home use

But 8GB RAM deserves scrutiny in late 2026, particularly if you keep many browser tabs open or expect to use the machine for several years.

There is also an important historical-price complication.

Earlier Dell-direct listings showed a superficially similar DC15250 for approximately $349.99–$379.99, but those configurations used 8GB DDR4 rather than the DDR5 configuration currently surfaced by Dell.

Therefore CRAOB would not write:

“This exact Dell laptop was $349 earlier this year.”

The memory configuration was materially different.

That is precisely why model-family names alone are not enough.

Dell 15 DC15250 — Check Price on Amazon

Amazon listings should be checked especially carefully here because marketplace sellers frequently alter RAM, SSD capacity or Windows edition.

The New XPS 13 Changes Dell’s Budget-Premium Equation

The biggest surprise in Dell’s 2026 consumer lineup is that XPS is no longer exclusively a $1,500-plus category.

XPS 13 DX13260 — Starts at $699.99

Dell launched the new XPS 13 in June 2026 as its most accessible XPS yet.

The current entry configuration includes:

  • Intel Core 5 320
  • 8GB LPDDR5X
  • 256GB SSD
  • 13.4-inch 2560 × 1600 touchscreen
  • Intel integrated graphics
  • Windows 11 Home
  • Wi-Fi 7
  • backlit keyboard

Dell lists it around $699.99.

The chassis starts at only 2.2 pounds and approximately 0.5 inches thick. Dell’s higher configurations can move to Core Ultra Series 3 processors, 32GB memory and 1TB storage.

The $599 price is conditional

Dell also offers the entry XPS 13 for $599 to eligible students, but that is not a universally available retail price.

The offer requires student eligibility and Dell’s associated verification process, and Dell currently says it runs through the back-to-school promotional period.

So keep these separate:

Regular Dell starting price: $699.99
Eligible-student Dell price: $599

Do not describe $599 as the normal price for every shopper.

XPS 13 Has Almost No Useful Pre-Launch Price History

Dell made the XPS 13 broadly available on June 16, 2026.

Amazon Prime Day in the United States ran June 23–26, 2026.

That means the laptop had been on the market for only about a week before Prime Day.

There is not enough established, clean U.S. Amazon pricing history for CRAOB to invent a meaningful “Prime Day low” for this exact DX13260.

The more useful benchmarks are:

  • launch/general price: $699
  • verified student price: $599
  • current exact configuration pricing

The current-generation DX13260 also does not yet have the same dependable Amazon U.S. distribution as Dell’s older mainstream models, so Dell direct is the more sensible primary price reference.

But 8GB RAM Changes the XPS 13 Value Story

A $699 XPS sounds unusually inexpensive, but the base configuration contains only 8GB memory and 256GB storage.

That may be sufficient for:

  • web browsing
  • streaming
  • school documents
  • light productivity
  • simple photo work

But someone buying for:

  • heavy multitasking
  • software development
  • large Excel workloads
  • Adobe applications
  • virtual machines
  • years of increasingly memory-intensive software

should compare a 16GB configuration instead of assuming the cheapest XPS is automatically the right deal.

This is one of the most important rules for Dell Cyber Monday shopping:

Do not compare a 16GB/1TB laptop with an 8GB/256GB laptop just because both say XPS.

Configuration Trap #2: Dell 16 Plus Has Already Been Far Cheaper Than Some Current Listings

The Dell 16 Plus is one of the strongest examples of why 2026 price history matters.

Previous-generation Intel Dell 16 Plus DB16250

One particularly useful configuration included:

  • Intel Core Ultra 7 256V
  • Intel Arc graphics
  • 16GB LPDDR5X
  • 1TB SSD
  • 16-inch 2560 × 1600 IPS display

Dell sold that exact configuration for $899.99 earlier in 2026. Dell’s own product listings and contemporaneous deal reporting both document the price.

That $899.99 Dell-direct figure is a much more valuable benchmark than a crossed-out “Estimated Value” of $1,429.99 or $1,529.99.

For example:

If Cyber Monday shows the same:

Ultra 7 256V / 16GB / 1TB / 2.5K

configuration for $999.99, it may look heavily discounted against a higher reference price.

But it would still be $100 more than Dell already charged earlier in 2026.

Dell 16 Plus DB16250 — Check Price on Amazon

Amazon can be useful for this older Dell Plus generation, but verify that a listing actually contains the same processor, RAM, SSD and display.

A Lower-Spec Dell 16 Plus Was Also $799.99

Dell also previously listed a DB16250 configuration with:

  • Intel Core Ultra 5 226V
  • 16GB LPDDR5X
  • 512GB SSD
  • 16-inch 2560 × 1600 display

for $799.99.

That price should not be compared directly with the $899 Ultra 7 / 1TB configuration and described as if the difference were purely a sale.

You were also getting:

  • a different processor
  • half the storage

Exact configuration matters.

Current AMD Dell 16 Plus Is a Different Product

Dell now also sells the DB16255 Dell 16 Plus with AMD Ryzen AI processors.

A current September configuration at approximately $1,299.99 includes:

  • AMD Ryzen AI 5 340
  • Radeon 840M-class integrated graphics
  • 16GB memory
  • 512GB SSD
  • 16-inch 1920 × 1200 touchscreen
  • Windows 11 Home / Copilot+ PC

A Ryzen AI 7 350 version with:

  • 16GB
  • 1TB SSD

is around $1,549.99 in Dell’s current configuration set.

Do not compare either number directly with the earlier $899 Intel DB16250 without acknowledging the generation, processor and configuration differences.

“Dell 16 Plus” is a family name, not a single SKU.

Dell 14 Plus: Watch the Model Number Before You Look at the Discount

Dell currently has both Intel and AMD versions of the 14 Plus.

Intel Dell 14 Plus DB14250

A current Dell deal configuration is around $1,109.99 with:

  • Intel Core Ultra 5 226V
  • 512GB SSD
  • 14-inch 2560 × 1600 non-touch display

Dell labels the comparison value at $1,379.99.

However, Dell’s own catalog showed the DB14250 family starting around $799.99 earlier in summer 2026.

That earlier number is useful context but not an exact SKU historical low because Dell’s “starting at” price does not guarantee the same processor, memory, storage and screen.

CRAOB would therefore say:

The DB14250 family has previously started around $799.99.

We would not say:

This exact $1,109.99 configuration previously sold for $799.99.

unless the full configuration can be matched.

Dell 14 Plus DB14250 — Check Price on Amazon

AMD Dell 14 Plus DB14255

The AMD version is newer.

A current $1,249.99 Dell configuration includes:

  • Ryzen AI 5 340
  • 6 cores
  • 50-TOPS NPU
  • Radeon graphics
  • 16GB LPDDR5X
  • 512GB SSD
  • 14-inch 1920 × 1200 IPS display

Dell also offers a Ryzen AI 7 350 version.

Again, that is not simply an “AMD alternative” to the Intel version at the same specifications.

Different:

  • CPU
  • integrated GPU
  • NPU
  • display options
  • battery behavior
  • configuration pricing

all need to be considered.

Do Not Pay Extra for “AI PC” Without Checking What You Actually Get

Dell’s 2026 lineup uses AI terminology everywhere.

You will see:

  • AI PC
  • Copilot+ PC
  • 40-TOPS NPU
  • 47-TOPS NPU
  • 50-TOPS NPU
  • Core Ultra
  • Ryzen AI

Those specifications can matter for local AI features and Copilot+ requirements.

But they do not automatically make a laptop faster for:

  • web browsing
  • spreadsheets
  • Photoshop
  • gaming
  • video export
  • software development

The processor architecture, GPU, memory and cooling still determine far more of the everyday experience.

Do not pay several hundred dollars more merely because one listing has a larger TOPS number.

XPS 14 and XPS 16: Make Sure You Are Buying the 2026 Series 3 Models

This is a particularly important Cyber Monday safeguard.

Dell’s XPS 14 and XPS 16 returned at CES 2026.

Dell made initial configurations available on January 6 with launch configuration pricing of:

  • XPS 14: $2,049.99
  • XPS 16: $2,199.99

The current-generation machines are now:

  • XPS 14 DA14260
  • XPS 16 DA16260

and use Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

Older DA14250 and DA16250 hardware may still appear online.

Those were previously sold under Dell Premium/XPS transitional branding and use older processor generations.

That does not make them bad machines.

But they need to be priced as previous-generation inventory.

XPS 14 DA14260 — The Display and RAM Can Add Hundreds

A current XPS 14 configuration at around $2,079.99 includes:

  • Intel Core Ultra 7 355
  • 16GB LPDDR5X
  • 512GB SSD
  • Intel integrated graphics
  • 14-inch 1920 × 1200 non-touch display

Dell shows an Estimated Value of $2,249.99 for that specific offer.

Move to a configuration with:

  • Core Ultra X7 358H
  • 32GB RAM
  • 1TB SSD
  • 2.8K OLED touch display

and Dell’s price has recently been approximately $2,699.99 or higher, depending on the active offer.

That is why writing simply:

“XPS 14 is $600 off”

is not enough.

The OLED configuration is not the same laptop configuration as the 2K LCD machine.

OLED Is Not Automatically the Better Dell Laptop Deal

Dell’s OLED panels can deliver:

  • excellent contrast
  • true blacks
  • wider color coverage
  • higher-resolution options

But they can also bring:

  • substantially higher purchase price
  • higher power draw in some workloads
  • different battery behavior
  • potential OLED longevity considerations for heavily static workloads

A 2K LCD XPS may actually make more sense for someone prioritizing:

  • battery runtime
  • text work
  • travel
  • spreadsheets
  • coding

while OLED can be more attractive for:

  • photography
  • entertainment
  • visual creative work
  • users who specifically value contrast and color

The sale percentage should not decide that trade-off for you.

XPS 16 DA16260 — Do Not Confuse Integrated Graphics With an RTX Laptop

The current XPS 16 uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

A current Dell configuration around $2,339.99 includes:

  • Core Ultra 7 355
  • 16GB LPDDR5X
  • 1TB SSD
  • Intel integrated graphics
  • 16-inch 1920 × 1200 non-touch screen

Dell currently compares that offer with an Estimated Value around $2,649.99.

Higher configurations can use:

  • Core Ultra X7 358H
  • Core Ultra X9
  • 32GB memory
  • 3.2K OLED

and can move well beyond $3,000.

This matters because older XPS 16 DA16250 configurations existed with discrete GeForce RTX 5070 graphics. Dell’s earlier 2026 catalog explicitly listed the DA16250 with up to RTX 5070.

Therefore:

Newer model number does not automatically mean stronger GPU performance.

A newer XPS 16 with Intel integrated graphics should not be compared as if it were equivalent to an older RTX-equipped XPS 16.

The Previous XPS / Dell Premium Generation Can Be Good Clearance — at the Right Price

The DA14250 and DA16250 machines are now previous-generation.

Dell itself shows the older XPS 14 DA14250 as unavailable and directs shoppers to the newer DA14260.

That gives marketplace listings a clear context.

An older Dell Premium/XPS machine can still be attractive if:

  • configuration is strong
  • battery is new
  • seller is reputable
  • U.S. warranty is clear
  • discount is substantial

But a previous-generation laptop priced within $100–$200 of the current equivalent usually deserves much more scrutiny.

A Brand-New Dell Category Appeared in September: XPS Googlebook

Dell announced the XPS Googlebook on September 21, 2026.

This is not another Windows XPS.

It runs Googlebook OS and is designed around Gemini Intelligence and Android-phone integration.

The first configuration starts at $999 and includes:

  • Snapdragon X Elite
  • 16GB RAM
  • 512GB storage
  • 13.4-inch 2560 × 1600 touchscreen
  • up to 120Hz variable refresh
  • fingerprint reader
  • 2.2-pound aluminum chassis

Dell says the XPS Googlebook is currently available through Best Buy and Google’s store, with Dell.com availability beginning in October.

XPS Googlebook Has No Prime Day 2026 Benchmark

This one is simple.

The product was announced in September.

Amazon Prime Day occurred June 23–26.

Therefore there is no legitimate Prime Day 2026 XPS Googlebook price.

Its relevant benchmarks are:

  • $999 launch MSRP
  • October retail pricing
  • any documented fall promotion that occurs before Cyber Monday

Do not reuse the price history of the Windows XPS 13.

They are different products, different processors and different operating systems.

Amazon is also not currently the primary authorized distribution path, so CRAOB is not forcing an affiliate CTA here.

Windows XPS 13 or XPS Googlebook?

Despite similar size and design, these devices should not be treated as interchangeable.

Choose Windows XPS 13 when you depend on:

  • traditional Windows desktop applications
  • Windows-specific business software
  • standard Windows development tools
  • broad PC peripheral compatibility
  • conventional Windows game/app support

Consider XPS Googlebook when you specifically want:

  • Android ecosystem integration
  • Googlebook OS
  • Gemini-centric features
  • Android app continuity
  • Snapdragon X Elite
  • tight Android phone synchronization

Do not buy Googlebook hardware merely because the chassis looks like an XPS.

The operating system decision matters more.

Dell Pro Is Not Just an Expensive Dell Plus

Business Dell laptops need their own value calculation.

Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14250

Current Intel versions can be configured with:

  • Core Ultra 200V
  • Core Ultra 200U
  • vPro options
  • Windows 11 Pro
  • 16GB or 32GB memory
  • business security features
  • commercial support choices

Dell has recently offered one PB14250 configuration around $1,538, compared with an Estimated Value of $1,878.

Another configuration with Core Ultra 7 265U, Windows 11 Pro, 16GB DDR5 and 512GB SSD was previously around $1,649.45.

Those prices can look poor next to a discounted consumer Dell Plus.

But the comparison is not complete unless you account for:

  • Windows 11 Pro
  • vPro
  • business manageability
  • commercial support
  • security
  • enterprise deployment requirements
  • Ethernet/docking options
  • repair/service structure

A home buyer generally should not pay for enterprise features they will never use.

A company buying hundreds of laptops may care deeply about them.

Dell Pro Max: Do Not Buy a Workstation Because It Has “RTX”

Dell Pro Max is the workstation tier.

For example, a current Dell Pro Max 16 Premium MA16250 configuration can include:

  • Core Ultra 9 285H
  • NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell
  • Windows 11 Pro

with pricing exceeding $6,000 in certain configurations.

The Pro Max 16 Plus can go even higher depending on CPU, ECC-type memory choices, storage and RTX PRO GPU.

These systems are designed for professional workloads such as:

  • CAD
  • engineering
  • certification-dependent applications
  • 3D production
  • scientific workloads
  • enterprise workstation deployment

An RTX PRO 2000 is not simply a consumer gaming GPU with a more expensive name.

Likewise, a consumer GeForce RTX laptop can be much better value for gaming.

Amazon Dell Listings Need More Scrutiny Than Dell.com Configurations

Dell laptops are particularly messy on marketplaces.

Amazon listings frequently include descriptions such as:

  • “upgraded to 64GB RAM”
  • “2TB SSD”
  • “Windows 11 Pro”
  • external USB storage added to create a larger headline capacity
  • seller-opened configuration
  • previous-generation Inspiron name
  • international hardware
  • third-party warranty

One Amazon XPS listing, for example, described a larger total storage capacity by combining internal SSD capacity with external storage, and was sold by a third-party merchant rather than Dell or Amazon.

Another Inspiron marketplace listing explicitly stated that the seller opened the manufacturer’s box to customize the system.

That is why CRAOB prefers resilient Amazon search links rather than hard-coding dubious marketplace ASINs.

Before using an Amazon price as a Dell benchmark, verify:

  1. exact Dell model number
  2. CPU
  3. RAM
  4. internal SSD
  5. display
  6. GPU
  7. Windows edition
  8. condition
  9. seller
  10. manufacturer warranty

Seller-Upgraded RAM Is Not the Same as Factory Dell RAM

This deserves special attention.

A marketplace seller may buy a base laptop, open it and replace:

  • SSD
  • memory
  • operating system

before reselling it as a “32GB / 2TB” configuration.

That does not automatically mean the upgrade is bad.

But it can change:

  • warranty handling
  • SSD brand
  • memory brand
  • factory seal
  • support process
  • price comparison

A seller-created 32GB/2TB Dell should not be compared with a Dell factory 32GB/2TB SKU as though they are identical.

Memory Upgradeability Also Depends on the Exact Dell Platform

Another configuration trap is assuming laptop RAM is always upgradeable later.

Many thin Dell Plus and XPS configurations use LPDDR5X onboard memory.

For example, current Dell Plus Ryzen AI models explicitly list onboard LPDDR5X, and current XPS models also use LPDDR5X configurations.

If memory is soldered/onboard:

16GB today means 16GB for the life of the machine.

That makes paying for the correct memory capacity at purchase more important.

Some Dell Pro and larger workstation systems use replaceable DDR5 modules instead.

Always check the exact machine.

“Dell Estimated Value” Is Not the Same as Historical Selling Price

Dell frequently displays:

Estimated Value: $1,399
Dell Price: $899
You Save: $500

Dell itself explains that Estimated Value is derived from market data that can include prices at which comparable products were offered by third-party retailers, and the underlying retailer data may not reflect completed sales.

Therefore:

Estimated Value ≠ verified former Dell selling price

and

Estimated Value ≠ Amazon historical price

This is especially important on Cyber Monday when large percentage-off figures dominate the page.

A verified Dell-direct 2026 selling price is a stronger comparison.

The Three Most Useful Dell Laptop Benchmarks From 2026

Rather than trying to remember every configuration, these examples illustrate how to judge November pricing.

Dell 16 Plus DB16250 — Core Ultra 7 / 16GB / 1TB / 2.5K

Verified Dell-direct 2026 price: $899.99

This is one of the strongest documented mainstream Dell benchmarks.

Dell 16 Plus DB16250 — Core Ultra 5 / 16GB / 512GB / 2.5K

Verified Dell-direct 2026 price: $799.99

Lower price, but also lower CPU tier and storage.

XPS 13 DX13260 Base Configuration

Standard launch/current starting price: $699

Eligible-student price: $599

The $599 price is conditional and should not be presented as universally available.

These benchmarks do not predict Cyber Monday 2026.

They simply tell you whether November’s sale is genuinely better than prices Dell has already offered.

What About Amazon Prime Day 2026?

Amazon Prime Day ran June 23–26 in the United States.

Reliable exact Amazon U.S. price-history evidence for Dell’s newest configurations is surprisingly inconsistent.

Dell frequently:

  • sells configurations directly that Amazon does not carry
  • changes RAM/storage/display combinations
  • uses seller-specific SKUs
  • has marketplace sellers modify machines
  • launches new hardware shortly before or after major sale events

For that reason, CRAOB is not inventing exact Amazon Prime Day lows for the current XPS 14, XPS 16, Dell Plus AMD lineup or XPS 13 where exact-condition evidence is insufficient.

Dell-direct pricing is often the stronger benchmark for these products.

A weak price-history claim is worse than no price-history claim.

Dell Rewards, Student Savings and Bundles Are Not Cash Discounts

Dell frequently offers additional value through:

  • Dell Rewards
  • financing promotions
  • student discounts
  • software bundles
  • game bundles
  • monitor discounts with a PC
  • credit-card offers

Keep those separate from the laptop’s checkout price.

For example:

$1,000 laptop + $100 future Dell Rewards

does not mean:

$900 laptop

You still paid $1,000 for the computer.

Likewise, Intel software/game bundles offered with some 2026 XPS configurations do not reduce the amount charged for the laptop itself. Dell currently has such software promotions attached to qualifying Core Ultra X7/X9 systems.

A Five-Step Dell Configuration Check Before Checkout

Step 1: Find the model code

Examples:

  • DX13260
  • DA14260
  • DA16260
  • DB14250
  • DB16255
  • DC15250

Do not stop at “XPS 14” or “Dell 16 Plus.”

Step 2: Read the processor in full

These are not equivalent:

  • Core 3 100U
  • Core 5 320
  • Core Ultra 5 226V
  • Core Ultra 7 355
  • Core Ultra X7 358H
  • Ryzen AI 5 340
  • Ryzen AI 7 350

The word Ultra or AI alone is not enough.

Step 3: Check RAM before storage

A 2TB SSD is easy to market.

But a laptop with:

8GB RAM + 2TB SSD

may be a worse long-term choice for heavy work than:

16GB RAM + 512GB SSD

because the SSD can often be replaced or supplemented more easily than onboard memory.

Step 4: Match the display

A Dell listing can change price dramatically between:

  • FHD / 1920 × 1080
  • 1920 × 1200
  • 2560 × 1600
  • 2.8K OLED
  • 3.2K OLED
  • touch
  • non-touch

Do not compare them as the same machine.

Step 5: Identify the GPU

These categories are fundamentally different:

  • Intel integrated graphics
  • Intel Arc integrated graphics
  • AMD Radeon integrated graphics
  • GeForce RTX consumer graphics
  • NVIDIA RTX PRO workstation graphics

An “RTX laptop” is not automatically a better buy than a cheaper Dell Plus unless your workload benefits from it.

Which Dell Laptop Type Makes Sense in 2026?

Basic home and school use

Look first at:

  • Dell 15
  • Dell 16
  • base XPS 13

But prioritize 16GB RAM if the price difference is reasonable.

Student who carries the laptop every day

The 2.2-pound XPS 13 is unusually compelling at $699, or $599 for eligible students, as long as the base 8GB/256GB configuration is sufficient.

Mainstream productivity with a larger screen

The Dell 16 Plus family remains more appropriate than an expensive XPS for many users.

But historical pricing proves that some DB16250 configurations have already reached $799–$899 directly from Dell.

Portable productivity with better battery efficiency

Dell 14 Plus configurations using Core Ultra 200V or Ryzen AI processors deserve comparison.

Check whether the memory is onboard and choose the capacity you actually need at purchase.

Premium travel machine

Look at:

  • XPS 13
  • XPS 14

The newer XPS 14 adds more performance headroom but costs dramatically more.

Creative work on a larger premium screen

XPS 16 can make sense, particularly with a high-resolution screen.

But verify whether the machine actually contains discrete graphics before paying workstation-like money.

Business deployment

Choose Dell Pro when Windows Pro, vPro, manageability, support and fleet deployment genuinely matter.

CAD / engineering / professional GPU workloads

That is where Dell Pro Max or Precision belongs.

Do not buy it merely for Office, web browsing or conventional gaming.

Models We Would De-Prioritize Unless the Clearance Price Is Excellent

Old Inspiron listings

Inspiron hardware still appears across Amazon and other marketplaces.

Dell’s current consumer structure has moved to Dell, Dell Plus and XPS.

An Inspiron can still be useful, but it should not carry a premium simply because an old listing shows a giant original MSRP.

Dell Premium DA14250 / DA16250

These are previous-generation machines now that Dell restored XPS and introduced the DA14260/DA16260 hardware.

They can still be good buys at aggressive clearance prices.

Old Intel CPUs in expensive configurations

A Core i7 badge does not automatically beat a newer Core Ultra processor.

Model generation matters.

Seller-upgraded 64GB / 4TB configurations

Only buy these when you understand:

  • who installed the components
  • whether the internal hardware is identified
  • what warranty applies
  • whether the price premium is reasonable

Huge memory/storage numbers can hide an old processor and mediocre display.

One More 2026 Change: Do Not Confuse XPS Googlebook With a Chromebook

Dell describes XPS Googlebook as a new premium category combining Android integration with technology derived from the ChromeOS ecosystem rather than simply another Chromebook.

That matters for old Dell articles.

Do not replace a cheap Chromebook recommendation with a $999 XPS Googlebook merely because both are Google-centric laptops.

The XPS Googlebook is targeting an entirely different price and hardware tier.

Final Dell Laptop Cyber Monday 2026 Buying Perspective

Dell’s 2026 laptop range requires more configuration checking than almost any other major PC brand.

The first major change is branding: XPS is officially back, Dell Premium is being retired, and current consumer hardware is increasingly organized around Dell/Dell Plus and XPS.

The second major change is Intel Core Ultra Series 3.

The current XPS 14 DA14260 and XPS 16 DA16260 are not the same machines as the older DA14250 and DA16250 configurations that may still appear in clearance listings.

The third major change is the new XPS 13 DX13260. Its $699 starting price is unusually low for XPS, with a verified $599 conditional student price, but the entry configuration’s 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD need to be considered rather than focusing only on the XPS badge.

For mainstream buyers, the Dell 16 Plus DB16250 provides one of the clearest 2026 historical benchmarks: Dell already sold a Core Ultra 7 256V / 16GB / 1TB / 2.5K configuration for $899.99, while a Core Ultra 5 / 16GB / 512GB version reached $799.99.

That means a future Cyber Monday discount must be compared with those real prices, not solely with Dell’s Estimated Value.

The newer AMD Ryzen AI Dell Plus models are separate configurations and should not inherit the old Intel models’ price histories.

At the premium end, pay attention to display and GPU configuration. A 2K integrated-graphics XPS and an OLED or RTX-equipped XPS are not equivalent even when the product-family name is identical.

Business buyers should treat Dell Pro separately from consumer Dell Plus, and professional workstation buyers should do the same with Dell Pro Max/Precision.

Finally, the XPS Googlebook is too new for any legitimate Prime Day 2026 comparison. It was introduced in September at $999 and will only reach Dell.com in October, so any Cyber Monday evaluation should use its actual launch and fall pricing rather than borrowing history from the Windows XPS 13.

Cyber Monday 2026 prices themselves remain unknown.

When the deals arrive, ignore the percentage-off banner until you have matched:

model number → CPU → RAM → SSD → display → GPU → seller → condition → warranty → exact 2026 price history.

With Dell laptops, that configuration match is what separates a genuinely strong Cyber Monday deal from a cheaper-looking machine that simply contains cheaper hardware.
