Dell’s monitor catalog is unusually easy to misread in 2026.
A 27-inch Dell can cost less than $200 or more than $800. Two 32-inch 4K Dell displays can differ by nearly $2,000. A $599 sale can be excellent on one model and poor on another.
The reason is that Dell is effectively selling several different kinds of displays under the same brand:
- Dell Plus for home, entertainment and general productivity
- Dell Pro Plus for office docking and business connectivity
- Dell UltraSharp for higher-end productivity and color-sensitive work
- specialized professional displays such as the new 2026 UltraSharp 52
- separate Alienware gaming monitors, which are better treated as their own gaming category
So this Cyber Monday guide does not rank Dell monitors from cheapest to most expensive.
Instead, start with the job your monitor needs to perform, then compare the exact model against its real 2026 pricing.
Cyber Monday 2026 has not happened yet. No future Cyber Monday prices below are predictions.
Dell Monitor 2026 Snapshot
| Model | Screen | Resolution / Refresh | September 2026 Price Context | Best Fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dell S2725QS | 27″ IPS | 4K / 120Hz | $299.99 Dell; Amazon reached $218.49 in June | Simple 4K desktop |
| Dell S2725DC | 27″ IPS | QHD / 144Hz | $259.99 Dell | USB-C home office |
| Dell P2725QE | 27″ IPS | 4K / 100Hz | $509.99 Dell | Laptop docking / business |
| Dell S3225QS | 31.5″ VA | 4K / 120Hz | $329.99 Dell | Large everyday 4K screen |
| Dell S3225QC | 31.6″ QD-OLED | 4K / 120Hz | Recent Dell sale $599.99; catalog can show $799.99 | OLED entertainment + productivity |
| Dell U2725QE | 27″ IPS Black | 4K / 120Hz | $849.99 Dell; about $699 at Best Buy | Premium Thunderbolt workspace |
| Dell U3225QE | 31.5″ IPS Black | 4K / 120Hz | around $969.99 Dell | Larger premium workspace |
| Dell U4025QW | 39.7″ IPS Black | 5120×2160 / 120Hz | Dell up to $2,399.99; Best Buy recently $1,799 | Ultrawide workstation |
| Dell U3226Q | 31.5″ QD-OLED | 4K / 120Hz | $2,599.99 list/current territory | Color-critical professional work |
| Dell U5226KW | 51.5″ IPS Black | 6144×2560 / 120Hz | recent Dell sale as low as $2,699.99 with stand | Multi-monitor replacement |
Those differences matter far more than the percentage printed beside a sale banner.
Desk Type 1: You Just Want a Sharp 27-Inch 4K Monitor
Dell 27 Plus 4K Monitor S2725QS
The S2725QS remains one of Dell’s easiest monitors to understand.
It gives you:
- 27-inch IPS panel
- 3840 × 2160 resolution
- 120Hz refresh rate
- AMD FreeSync Premium
- 99% sRGB
- integrated speakers
- height adjustment
- pivot
- swivel
- tilt
- DisplayPort
- dual HDMI
Dell currently lists it at $299.99.
That $299.99 figure, however, is not the useful Cyber Monday benchmark.
Prime Day 2026: approximately $219 at Amazon
During the U.S. Prime Day period, the S2725QS reached approximately $219 at Amazon. Contemporary Prime Day coverage documented it at that level.
Amazon subsequently sold it for $218.49 on June 30, with the offer specifically requiring the monitor to be sold and shipped by Amazon.
That gives shoppers a clean 2026 reference:
- Dell current price: $299.99
- Prime Day-era Amazon price: about $219
- verified June 30 Amazon price: $218.49
So a future Cyber Monday price of $249.99 would be a real reduction from Dell’s current price but would not beat Amazon’s June 2026 benchmark.
Dell 27 Plus 4K Monitor S2725QS — Check Price on Amazon
One warning about unusually cheap S2725QS listings
Amazon Resale recently showed a used-like-new S2725QS for $127.27.
That is not a new-product historical low and should never be used as one.
New Amazon price and Amazon Resale price are different benchmarks.
Desk Type 2: Your Laptop Needs One Cable, but You Do Not Need UltraSharp
Dell 27 Plus QHD USB-C Monitor S2725DC
Not everyone needs 4K.
The S2725DC trades resolution for a more laptop-friendly connection setup:
- 27-inch IPS
- 2560 × 1440
- 144Hz
- USB-C video
- up to 65W USB-C charging
- USB hub
- HDMI
- DisplayPort
- integrated speakers
- fully adjustable stand
Dell currently lists it for $259.99.
This creates an interesting decision.
At normal prices:
S2725QS — $299.99
- 4K
- 120Hz
- no USB-C docking
S2725DC — $259.99
- QHD
- 144Hz
- USB-C with 65W charging
The better choice depends on the desk.
If your laptop normally needs its charger plus an HDMI/DisplayPort cable, the S2725DC can remove cabling.
If text sharpness and desktop space matter more, the 4K S2725QS is the stronger display specification.
Do not assume that the higher-resolution model is automatically the better workstation.
Dell 27 Plus QHD USB-C Monitor S2725DC — Check Price on Amazon
Desk Type 3: The Monitor Needs to Replace a Dock
This is where Dell’s Pro Plus and UltraSharp models begin to justify their higher prices.
Dell Pro 27 Plus 4K USB-C Hub Monitor P2725QE
The P2725QE costs substantially more than the S2725QS, despite both being 27-inch 4K monitors.
Dell currently lists the P2725QE around $509.99, against a $539.99 Dell Estimated Value.
Why?
Because the P2725QE adds an office-oriented connectivity layer:
- 27-inch 4K IPS
- up to 100Hz
- USB-C upstream
- up to 90W USB-C charging
- three USB-A downstream ports
- USB-C downstream
- 1Gb Ethernet
- HDMI
- DisplayPort
- height / swivel / pivot / tilt
That means the real comparison is not:
$300 monitor versus $510 monitor
It may be:
$300 monitor + USB-C dock
versus:
$510 monitor with much of the docking functionality built in
For corporate laptops and permanent home-office desks, that distinction can matter.
For a desktop PC that will never use USB-C charging or Ethernet through the monitor, much of the extra money may be wasted.
Desk Type 4: You Want 4K and a Larger 32-Inch Canvas
Dell 32 Plus 4K Monitor S3225QS
The S3225QS offers:
- 31.5-inch display
- 3840 × 2160
- 120Hz
- VA panel
- built-in speakers
- height adjustment
- approximately $329.99 current Dell pricing
Dell currently shows an Estimated Value of $369.99 and Dell Price of $329.99.
The phrase Estimated Value deserves attention.
Dell explicitly says Estimated Value is based partly on third-party market data and that those third-party values may not represent actual sales.
Therefore:
Dell Estimated Value ≠ verified previous selling price
It should not automatically be treated like a documented MSRP or historical price.
That rule applies throughout Dell’s monitor store.
Dell 32 Plus 4K Monitor S3225QS — Check Price on Amazon
Desk Type 5: You Want OLED, but Not a $2,600 Professional Color Monitor
Dell 32 Plus 4K QD-OLED S3225QC
The S3225QC is one of the most interesting Dell monitors for Cyber Monday because its pricing moves significantly.
Specifications include:
- 31.6-inch QD-OLED
- 3840 × 2160
- 120Hz
- HDMI 2.1
- VRR
- HDR
- USB-C video
- up to 90W USB-C power delivery
- integrated USB connectivity
- height / swivel / tilt adjustment
Dell currently keeps the monitor in its active consumer lineup.
The interesting part is not the specification sheet.
It is Dell’s own recent pricing.
Dell recently offered it for $599.99
A recent Dell U.S. listing showed:
- Dell Estimated Value: $799.99
- Dell Price: $599.99
- stated savings: $200
Yet newer Dell catalog snapshots have also shown the monitor back at $799.99.
That tells Cyber Monday shoppers something important:
Do not assume $799.99 is the price to beat.
Dell itself has already sold it for $599.99 in 2026.
A future $699.99 promotion might show $100 off the current catalog price but would still be $100 worse than that recent Dell-direct sale.
Dell 32 Plus 4K QD-OLED Monitor S3225QC — Check Price on Amazon
Ignore renewed pricing when judging a new unit
Amazon Renewed inventory has appeared around $400.
That sounds dramatic, but it was explicitly renewed inventory.
It cannot be used as the historical low for a factory-new S3225QC.
Desk Type 6: You Want a Premium Thunderbolt Laptop Workstation
Dell UltraSharp 27 4K Thunderbolt Hub Monitor U2725QE
The U2725QE looks similar to many cheaper 27-inch monitors until you examine what Dell built around the panel.
It includes:
- 27-inch 4K
- 120Hz
- enhanced IPS Black
- 3000:1 claimed contrast ratio
- DisplayHDR 600
- 99% DCI-P3
- 99% Display P3
- factory color accuracy
- Thunderbolt 4
- up to 140W EPR laptop charging
- Thunderbolt downstream for daisy chaining
- 2.5Gb Ethernet
- KVM-oriented USB connectivity
- multiple USB-A and USB-C ports
Dell’s own catalog currently shows $849.99.
But Best Buy recently listed the exact U2725QE for approximately $699–$699.99.
That is a useful retailer benchmark.
A Dell-direct promotion from $849.99 to $749.99 might appear attractive, yet a shopper should know that Best Buy has already been around $699.
Why does it cost so much more than the S2725QS?
You are largely paying for:
- superior hub functionality
- 140W Thunderbolt charging
- 2.5Gb Ethernet
- daisy-chain capability
- KVM functionality
- wider color gamut
- IPS Black
- HDR capability
- professional connectivity
If you need none of those things, the S2725QS provides the same basic 27-inch + 4K + 120Hz headline combination for much less.
The U2725QE is not simply “the better 27-inch Dell.”
It solves a more complicated desk.
Dell UltraSharp U2725QE 27-inch 4K Thunderbolt Monitor — Check Price on Amazon
Need More Space? The U3225QE Is the Same Idea at 32 Inches
Dell UltraSharp U3225QE
The U3225QE expands the premium workspace to 31.5 inches.
Dell’s September catalog shows roughly $969.99, versus its $1,029.99 Estimated Value.
Like the U2725QE, it combines:
- 4K resolution
- IPS Black
- 120Hz-class display
- Thunderbolt
- USB hub functionality
- laptop power delivery
- Ethernet
- ergonomic adjustment
The decision between the 27- and 32-inch versions should not be made from sale percentage alone.
At the same 3840 × 2160 resolution:
- 27 inches gives higher pixel density
- 32 inches makes interface elements physically larger at the same scaling
- 32 inches provides a more expansive physical workspace
- 27 inches occupies less desk depth and width
Neither is inherently superior.
Dell UltraSharp U3225QE 32-inch 4K Thunderbolt Monitor — Check Price on Amazon
Desk Type 7: You Want One Ultrawide Instead of Two Conventional Monitors
Dell UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor U4025QW
The U4025QW remains one of Dell’s major professional ultrawides.
It combines:
- 39.7-inch curved display
- 5120 × 2160 resolution
- 120Hz
- IPS Black
- 99% DCI-P3
- 99% Display P3
- Thunderbolt hub functionality
- wide productivity-oriented desktop space
Dell’s catalog can show the U4025QW at $2,399.99.
But that is not the only useful September benchmark.
Recent Dell-direct pages have shown approximately $2,099.99, $300 below Dell’s $2,399.99 Estimated Value.
And Best Buy recently listed the exact U4025QW for approximately $1,799.
That is a very large difference:
- Dell catalog/reference territory: $2,399.99
- recent Dell direct sale: $2,099.99
- recent Best Buy listing: $1,799
So a Cyber Monday price of $2,099 might be a Dell discount while still being hundreds of dollars above another major retailer’s recent price.
That is why retailer attribution matters.
Dell UltraSharp U4025QW 40-inch Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor — Check Price on Amazon
Dell’s Biggest 2026 Monitor Is a Completely Different Kind of Purchase
Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor U5226KW
The U5226KW was introduced at CES 2026.
Dell launched it as a 51.5-inch curved 6K productivity display designed to replace a complex multi-monitor arrangement.
Specifications include:
- 51.5-inch IPS Black panel
- 6144 × 2560
- 120Hz
- 21:9 aspect ratio
- 99% DCI-P3
- 99% Display P3
- up to 140W Thunderbolt 4 charging
- 2.5Gb Ethernet
- built-in KVM
- multi-PC support
- multiple USB-C and USB-A ports
- two HDMI 2.1 connections
- multiple DisplayPort connections
Dell originally announced U.S. pricing at $2,899.99 with stand and $2,799.99 without stand, with availability beginning January 6, 2026.
That original launch figure is important because Dell’s current store has subsequently displayed a $2,999.99 Estimated Value for the stand-equipped version.
The two numbers are not the same thing.
Recent Dell pricing has already dropped substantially
A recent Dell U.S. listing showed:
- with stand: $2,699.99
- without stand: $2,199.99
The no-stand version is especially interesting for someone who already owns a professional monitor arm or mounting system capable of safely supporting this very large display.
But make sure the mounting hardware is suitable for the monitor’s dimensions and weight.
Prime Day evidence
The U5226KW existed during Prime Day 2026, but I could not establish a sufficiently strong exact Amazon U.S. Prime Day transaction price for the new monitor.
CRAOB therefore does not assign it one.
Use:
- official January launch pricing
- verified Dell-direct 2026 pricing
- current checkout price
rather than inventing an Amazon benchmark.
Because this is specialized professional hardware and Amazon inventory can vary by seller, Dell direct is a more reliable buying reference unless the Amazon listing is clearly legitimate.
Creative Professionals Need to Understand the U3226Q Before Paying $2,600
Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED U3226Q
The U3226Q is another genuine 2026 release.
Dell announced it at CES and made it available globally beginning February 24, 2026 at $2,599.99.
This is not simply an expensive version of the $599–$799 S3225QC.
The U3226Q is built for professional color workflows.
It includes:
- 31.5-inch QD-OLED
- 3840 × 2160
- 120Hz
- DisplayHDR True Black 500
- Dolby Vision
- 99% DCI-P3
- 99% Display P3
- 94% Adobe RGB
- factory Delta E <1 target
- built-in colorimeter
- hardware-oriented calibration controls
- Dell Color Management tools
- anti-glare low-reflectance coating
Dell currently shows the monitor around $2,599.99, while recent Dell snapshots have shown a temporary $2,439.99 price.
Why not just buy the S3225QC for $599?
For entertainment, ordinary productivity and casual creative work, that comparison is reasonable.
For someone doing paid:
- color grading
- broadcast work
- film finishing
- professional photography
- color-managed production
the U3226Q’s calibration hardware and professional color workflow features are the actual product.
The QD-OLED panel technology alone is not what makes it cost $2,600.
Again, OLED does not automatically mean better value.
It depends on the job.
Dell’s 2026 Naming System Can Save You From Buying the Wrong Monitor
There is a useful pattern in the lineup.
Dell Plus
Examples:
- S2725QS
- S2725DC
- S3225QS
- S3225QC
These are generally consumer/home models.
Dell Pro Plus
Examples:
- P2725QE
- P3225QE
These emphasize office connectivity, USB-C hubs and business use.
The P3225QE, for example, is a 31.5-inch 4K 100Hz IPS display with 90W USB-C charging and Ethernet, currently around $609.99–$649.99 depending on Dell’s active pricing.
UltraSharp
Examples:
- U2725QE
- U3225QE
- U4025QW
- U3226Q
- U5226KW
These models move further into:
- higher-grade panels
- professional color
- Thunderbolt
- advanced USB hubs
- KVM
- high-power charging
- specialist workstation layouts
Paying more only makes sense when those differences solve something you actually need.
4K at 120Hz Does Not Mean Every Dell Monitor Is a Gaming Monitor
Several Dell productivity models now run at 120Hz.
That is excellent for:
- smoother scrolling
- cursor movement
- UI animation
- general responsiveness
- occasional gaming
But refresh rate alone does not transform an office display into a high-end gaming monitor.
Dell’s dedicated gaming products under the Alienware brand can offer:
- substantially higher refresh rates
- lower response times
- gaming-oriented OLED implementations
- gaming VRR certification
- different port layouts
This article intentionally keeps Alienware gaming monitors separate from Dell’s mainstream and UltraSharp monitor buying decision.
A Cyber Monday buyer should not pay extra for a professional Thunderbolt monitor when what they really want is competitive gaming performance.
Be Careful With Dell’s “Estimated Value”
This deserves its own section because Dell uses the term prominently.
Dell explains that its Estimated Value can be based on industry data including prices at which third-party retailers have offered the same or comparable products, and says those values may not reflect actual sales.
Therefore, if Dell shows:
Estimated Value: $799.99
Dell Price: $599.99
you can truthfully say Dell is offering the product for $599.99 against its stated Estimated Value.
But you should not automatically write:
“This monitor normally sells for $799.99.”
unless actual sales history proves that.
For CRAOB, real prices from Amazon, Best Buy, Dell and other retailers are more useful than a comparison number by itself.
Amazon, Dell and Best Buy Prices Must Stay Separate
Three examples from this lineup show why.
S2725QS
Amazon reached approximately $218.49.
That is an Amazon benchmark.
U4025QW
Best Buy has recently been around $1,799.
That is a Best Buy benchmark.
S3225QC
Dell itself recently offered $599.99.
That is a Dell-direct benchmark.
None of those prices should be relabeled as coming from another retailer.
Do Not Let Open-Box or Renewed Pricing Reset the New-Product Low
Monitor categories generate lots of open-box inventory.
That is particularly true for OLED and premium screens.
Separate:
- brand-new Amazon
- Amazon Resale
- Amazon Renewed
- Best Buy open-box
- Dell refurbished
- third-party refurbished
from brand-new retail prices.
The $127.27 Amazon Resale S2725QS and $400 renewed S3225QC examples are useful options for shoppers willing to accept those conditions, but they are not new-monitor historical lows.
With OLED in particular, condition and warranty deserve extra attention.
Six Questions to Answer Before Buying Any Dell Monitor on Cyber Monday
1. Do you need 4K?
At 27 inches, 4K provides excellent text density, but QHD may be perfectly adequate and easier to drive for gaming.
2. Do you need USB-C power delivery?
A desktop PC does not care about 90W or 140W laptop charging.
A laptop workstation may care a lot.
3. Do you need Ethernet through the monitor?
If yes, Dell Pro Plus or UltraSharp may remove a separate dock.
4. Are you paying for professional color features you will never use?
A built-in colorimeter is valuable for color-managed production and unnecessary for spreadsheets.
5. Is OLED appropriate for your workload?
OLED offers superb black levels and contrast.
IPS can still be preferable for some static-heavy office environments, budget constraints and particular professional requirements.
6. What did this exact model already cost in 2026?
That final question prevents the biggest Cyber Monday mistake.
The 2026 Dell Prices Worth Saving
These are among the most useful verified benchmarks from the current lineup.
Dell S2725QS
Dell September price: $299.99
Amazon Prime Day 2026: about $219
Amazon June 30: $218.49 sold/shipped by Amazon
Dell S3225QC
Dell Estimated Value: $799.99
Recent Dell-direct sale: $599.99
Current catalog can return: $799.99
Dell U2725QE
Dell September listing: $849.99
Recent Best Buy price: about $699
Dell U4025QW
Dell reference/current catalog territory: up to $2,399.99
Recent Dell-direct sale: $2,099.99
Recent Best Buy listing: $1,799
Dell U5226KW
January 2026 launch: $2,899.99 with stand
Recent Dell-direct price: $2,699.99 with stand
Recent no-stand Dell price: $2,199.99
Dell U3226Q
Launch price: $2,599.99
Recent Dell promotional price: $2,439.99
Current catalog territory: $2,599.99
Those figures are historical context, not predictions.
Final Buying Perspective
Dell Monitor Cyber Monday deals in 2026 should be judged by desk architecture, not by screen size or discount percentage alone.
For a straightforward 27-inch 4K desktop, the S2725QS remains especially easy to understand. Its $299.99 current Dell price is less important than the fact Amazon already reached roughly $219 during Prime Day and $218.49 shortly afterward.
For laptop users who mainly want USB-C convenience, the S2725DC offers QHD at 144Hz with 65W charging without moving into expensive professional-monitor territory.
For offices that want the display to function partly as a dock, the P2725QE and P3225QE add USB-C power, Ethernet and hub functionality.
The S3225QC is the monitor to watch if you want 32-inch 4K QD-OLED without paying for professional calibration hardware. Dell has already offered it for $599.99, so a return to $699.99 should not automatically be celebrated as a major deal.
The U2725QE and U3225QE make more sense when Thunderbolt, high-power laptop charging, Ethernet, KVM functionality and professional connectivity have actual value to your workflow.
For one-screen ultrawide productivity, the U4025QW needs especially careful price comparison because Best Buy has recently undercut Dell’s higher direct/reference pricing by hundreds of dollars.
The new U5226KW is a genuine 2026 product built to replace multi-monitor workstations, while the U3226Q is a professional QD-OLED color tool rather than simply an expensive entertainment monitor.
Most importantly, ignore the crossed-out number long enough to check:
exact model → resolution → panel → refresh rate → USB-C/Thunderbolt capability → power delivery → condition → retailer → verified 2026 selling history.
That is the difference between finding a Dell monitor that is actually discounted and buying one that merely has an impressive-looking sale label.
